Deputy President of the Personal Data Protection Office
On 2 February 2024, Agnieszka Grzelak was appointed by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, as Deputy President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Agnieszka Grzelak is a lawyer, member of the Warsaw Bar Association, specialising in European law, habilitated doctor of law, professor at the Kozminski University in Warsaw. She is also a member of the scientific council of the Association of Information Security Administrators (SABI), and a member of the expert corps of Poland’s National Science Centre, the Program Council Review of International, European and Comparative Law, and a member of the editorial board of the European Judiciary Review (morein the about us).
She was the Deputy Director of the Constitutional, International and European Law Team at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights. She was a legislative expert at the Bureau of Studies and Expertise of the Bureau of Research of the Sejm the Chancellery of the Sejm and a member of the Supreme Court Research and Analyses Office.
Currently, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office has two deputies, Jakub Groszkowski has been the Deputy President of the Personal Data Protection Office since 1 November 2022.
