Meeting of the Personal Data Protection Office with the Polish Confederation Lewiatan
The Personal Data Protection Office has started consultations with organisations representing entrepreneurs with a meeting with the Polish Confederation Lewiatan.
Mirosław Wróblewski, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, together with Konrad Komornicki, the Deputy President of the Personal Data Protection Office and colleagues met with Maciej Witucki, the President of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan and representatives of its member companies.
"The meeting was an opportunity to present the plans of the Personal Data Protection Office in the field of information activities and to initiate a discussion on various challenges related to the application of personal data protection regulations. Dialogue with the business community, including representatives of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan, is crucial to support the effective protection of personal data," said Mirosław Wróblewski, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Discussions inter alia focused on the process of creating certification mechanisms, risk analysis, artificial intelligence and the vision of regulating this technology. New pieces of legislation, such as the Data Governance Act and the Artificial Intelligence Act, were also discussed. Mirosław Wróblewski, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, appealed to the member organisations of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan to support the activities of the data protection officers operating within them.
The participants declared that such meetings would be continued on a regular basis.
