Discussions about data protection in the attorney-at-law profession
Miroslaw Wroblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office, took part in a meeting with Data Protection Officers of chambers of attorneys-at-law and the National Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law. The event was an opportunity to discuss personal data protection issues important from the point of view of the attorneys-at-law self-government.
The President of the Personal Data Protection Office, thanks to the invitation to this cyclical meeting from Tomasz Scheffler, the Dean of the OIRP Council in Wrocław, was able to learn in detail about the problems and thoughts of the attorney-at-law community and share his experiences and insights on the subject of personal data protection, especially in connection with the performance of tasks by Data Protection Officers.
The discussions, which took place within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the Personal Data Protection Office and the National Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law, also concerned joint activities to increase the level of knowledge about personal data protection and privacy. Miroslaw Wroblewski expressed the hope that the exchange of experience and insights will translate into even better cooperation in the field of personal data protection in areas related to the practice of the attorney-at-law profession and the functioning of the attorneys-at-law self-government.
