We are analysing comments on the Personal Data Protection Office’s guides
Last week, two meetings were held between the Personal Data Protection Office’s employees and representatives of the Social Team of Experts to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. The meetings were devoted to the analysis of comments submitted to the Personal Data Protection Office’s guides.
After the end of public consultations on two guides of the Personal Data Protection Office: on employment and on reporting data breaches, the process of analysing the submitted comments began. All submitted comments are published on the Office's website: https://www.uodo.gov.pl/pl/138/3214.
"Ensuring transparency in the process of updating our guides and reliable response to all comments submitted in public consultations is a standard of good administration, which the supervisory authority will follow in its activities," emphasised Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Last week, during separate meetings, comments on both guides were initially discussed. The meetings were attended by employees of the Personal Data Protection Office and representatives of the Social Team of Experts to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, who support the Office in its work on updating the guides. The discussions concerned the form of guides, new issues that had not been discussed before, as well as issues requiring further consultations. A preliminary plan for further work on updating both guides was also adopted.
"The support of the Personal Data Protection Office in the development of new versions of the guides by the Social Team of Experts is intended to contribute to the inclusion in their content of issues that in practice the actions of controllers and processors raise the most doubts" - said Mirosław Gumularz Ph.D, Chairman of the Social Team of Experts to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
