The Personal Data Protection Office on tour across Poland

The Personal Data Protection Office, in cooperation with the Rzeszów Bar Association, the Voivode  of Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the Social Team of Experts to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, invites you to the next edition of the series of events ‘The Personal Data Protection Office on tour across Poland’, which will take place on 20-21 March 2025.

The event is addressed to Data Protection Officers (DPOs) and data controllers, who will have the opportunity to benefit from expert consultations and take part in the scientific conference entitled: ‘Information security within the organisation’.

The event will be held under the Honorary Patronage of:

• Piotr Borys, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism,
• Ministry of Finance,
• President of the City of Rzeszów.

Day I – 20 March 2025

Place: Rzeszów Bar Association (Klementyna Hoffmanowa Street),

8:30-12:00

• Meeting of the President of the Personal Data Protection Office with representatives of the Rzeszów Bar Association and opening of the Personal Data Protection Office’s consultation point.
• Consultation with the experts from the Personal Data Protection Office for all interested parties (Room 20 - Counsellor's Room).

Place: Podkarpackie Voivodeship Office (Grunwaldzka Street 15, Column Hall),

9:00 – 14:00

• Scientific conference ‘Information security within the organisation’, focusing, inter alia, on information security, modern technologies and the role of the Data Protection Officer.

Day II – 21 March 2025

Place: Urban Lab Rzeszów (3 Maja Street 13),

8:00-12:00 

• Meeting of the President of the Personal Data Protection Office with the President of the City of Rzeszów and opening of a consultation point.

• Consultation with the experts from the Personal Data Protection Office for representatives of education sector and all interested parties.

Place: University of Rzeszów (Aula Kula, building A0, prof. St. Pigonia Street 1),

8:00 – 14:30

• Continuation of the scientific conference ‘Information security within the organisation’, covering topics related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence in medicine and data protection in tourism.

Accompanying event:

Place: Primary School No. 17 with Integration Units of the 21st Highland Brigade in Rzeszów, Bulwarowa Street 3,

11:00-13:15

• The accompanying event will address the challenges for the protection of personal data in education, including the implementation of the ‘Your data – Your concern’ programme at Primary School No 17 in Rzeszów, which is a participant in the 15th edition of the programme. It provides for lectures by experts from the Personal Data Protection Office, presentations of educational initiatives implemented by the school and talks on the most up-to-date topics related to the personal data of children and young people shared on the Internet, including their image.
